Gradient Lair: My High School Was Great...But Partly Because of Inequality
The Daily Beast (via Newsweek) has an article that ranks America’s Best High Schools. My alma mater, Suncoast High School in Florida ranks #9 of the top 2,000 schools in the country! Nine. I was proud and felt crunk for a moment. It has always ranked highly.

I completely sympathize with this. My school was ranked 14. A lot of the kids have doctors and politicians for parents. Most of the minorities come from the inner city or the outlying counties that are low income or middle class. I love the school I attended. The alumni are very supportive but budget cuts are getting a bit insane. Support the governors schools of Virginia. Support the gifted children of America!!!
